100 Kisses

Recently, Ethan has been really into building Lego. We've had a big bucket of random blocks for a while and he liked that enough before. At Christmas he got a Lego City Cement Truck. At the time he and Opa built it together. A few weeks ago he pulled it out again and built the whole thing all on his own. He loved the building part so much that he'd build it, take it apart and then build it up all over again. Josh also bought him a another Lego City set while he was away on business. Ethan loved it.

Over the weekend the kids wanted to spend some of their money and Ethan said that he wanted to buy the Lego City Garbage Truck. We went in search of said truck but couldn't find it. The man at Toys R Us said that it was discontinued. Ethan settled on buying a camper van instead. I had offered to look on the internet to try and locate the garbage truck, but the money was burning a hole in his pocket and he opted to buy the camper. Since then I mentioned that I could still try and find the garbage truck. (Maybe for his birthday) He once said that he'd give me 100 kisses if I found the truck for him. I asked him if he'd give me anything even if I tried really hard, but couldn't find the truck. At first he said that he'd give me a hug. WHAT?!?! He later changed it to 100 hugs if I tried, but couldn't find it.

Tonight, I was heading out to the gym and he called out to me from the dinner table, "Bye Mama, go for the 100 kisses!!!"

I did go for gold, by the way, and found the truck at Sears of all places and on sale! Score! I'll be looking to claim my 100 kisses very soon.
