First Day of School

The very next day after getting back from Lake Wenatchee, we were back to school. Self Design, our Distribued Learning School, started a week earlier than most schools because the school is undergoing an audit in late September. They'd like to be more settled in the school year before the time of the audit. For us, I think that we were ready for school to start. The lazy, carefree days of summer were awesome, but I think that all of us were craving a little more structure as well. We did end the first week back to school with a 'field trip' to Burnaby Village Museum. We met up with our Self Design teacher and her two daughters and had a great time. Not a bad way to get back into school.
