Camping at Alice Lake

We went to Alice Lake for camping trips another two times this summer. The first trip was a two nighter with the Brown Johns joining us for one night and Kais joining all of us for the day. The weather was nice and hot and we were able to enjoy the lake for two full days.

The final time we went to Alice Lake  was also a two nighter. This trip was a 'just in case' trip that was planned because we worried that our annual Wenatchee trip may not happen. Turnes out we were able to secure both weekends, so we still have one more trip left! The nice thing about Alice Lake is that it is so close to Vancouver that we were able to leave in the afternoon on Friday and be home Sunday evening. The whole DIDO group plus Vangie were able to go and we had a great time despite the rain.

By the way, Ethan and Sophia really hit it off on this trip. I think they bonded over their love for their stuffed dogs Bobbi, Woa Woa and Ryo. In any case, I had to include these pictures. How cute are they?!?!

I also love this shot. Even though they love their stuffies, it looks like they may a little apprehensive when to comes to the real things.
