Random February Things

Sorry for the horrible post title. I really just wanted to get something up to remember some of the fun we've been up to this month. It really is just a random bunch of things and I couldn't think of anything else to call it.
Ethan's preschool celebrated Valentine's Day with a party and Maddy and I were able to attend too.

We went to a field trip to GardenWorks with Ethan's preschool.

They made desert gardens.

Saying goodbye to the Olympics. A funny story about the Olympics: Every time we watched an event, we'd ask the kids if they wanted to do that particular sport. Ski cross, skeleton, downhill even figure skating. It was always, "No, too dangerous." Even speed skating was a 'no'. They really enjoy skating lessons and are half Dutch and all. You know the only sport they agreed to try?...Curling.

We went to watch the National Syncronized Skating Championships. Maddy really loved it, but when asked if she wanted to try, she said maybe she'd think about it...I give up, curling it is then!

This is our Frosty. Do you know how hard it is to lift the body of the snowman onto the bottom? Almost didn't make it.

Hard to believe that it's already March. Hopefully the spring weather will be here soon.
