Big Sis
A couple of weekends ago we took Maddy to a sibling preparation class. The idea of the class was to teach kids between 2-6 yrs a little bit about what to expect when a new baby comes home. They covered things from what the birth may be like, to what babies need, to how things at home might change. The class was a little too advance for Maddy, but since then we've gone to the library and taken out some books. Who knew that Maddy would be so interested in the books. I think that she is really beginning to 'get it'. The other day Josh asked her "How come the baby cries?" and she replied "Clean diaper". If you keep asking she'll say things like "Milk" or "Hug". When we ask her "Where does the baby drink milk?" she'll say "Mama's boob-boob".
The biggest surprise for us was when she started singing this song she made up. I think they must sing 'Freres Jacques' at daycare because it's not one that we sing at home. Anyway, she changed the words herself.
Now if we can only teach her how to change a diaper...

Okay, FYI, I've had to play this video over and over (and over again), because Nora just loves watching Maddy sing... she keeps asking for 'MORE'! It's so sweet.
OMG she is just SO CUTe!
