Sorry it's been a while

So things have become busier for us so I haven't had time or the energy to post. I promise to get some pictures up again soon. For now I figure I can manage a quick update.

Many people are asking about the progress of the stuff toy race. So far Maddy hasn't shown too much interest in the toys that are in the race. She seems to like this 'binkie' that I made her. It's just a cloth with some ribbons around it. I have a feeling that she likes it because it's easy for her to grab a hold of and shove into her mouth. The other toys are hit and miss when it comes to making it into her mouth. Josh says that it's because she didn't want to choose between the two of us! What a thoughtful girl :) To be honest those toys are no longer making it to the bed anymore. By bedtime, I'm too tired to remember to sleep with them. What was I thinking?!?! They've been sitting on the shelf in Maddy's room for about 2 weeks now, so they've probably don't smell like anything anymore.

I guess that leads us to the next update. We are currently working to get Maddy to consistently take naps in the day. We decided it needed to be done because she would only fall asleep while she was nursed. It's been a struggle but I'm happy to say that after a week I'm getting the hang of it. So is Maddy. Hopefully after another week, she'll be really used to it, and go down by herself. Keep your fingers crossed.
